About Jim Parker Builders

Jim Parker has been building custom homes for over thirty years all over the area of Sussex County, Delaware. Jim is known for his custom home building, superior quality, and his great knowledge in the field of architecture. Jim graduated from Delaware Technical Community College with an Associates Degree in Architecture Engineering. He followed the career path of others in his family when he decided building new custom homes would not only become his career but a life full of dedication to doing the job right. He says there are three things a person should consider when choosing a Delaware home builder; communication, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. He is dedicated to superior quality whether you’re a first time home buyer or building your dream vacation home. Jim Parker Builders is dedicated to the customer and providing a positive experience during the entire custom home building process.

When Jim is not building custom homes in Delaware, he would choose to be traveling the country hunting and fishing or traveling with his wife to new places. Jim Parker has been married to Mary Beth, his wife and business partner, for thirty years. They have the joy of working together at home and in the work place. They have two daughters, Jaime and Kinsley and a grand-daughter Kendall. Jaime is a graduate of Wilmington University with a bachelors degree in business and marketing and is employed as our Sales and Marketing Manager. Kinsley just recently graduated from Wilmington University as pre-law student and is going to continue her studies to become a lawyer. When Jim is not at work, his family keeps him very busy with his beautiful grand-daughter, family dinners, traveling, and simply spending time together.
